I am a cradle Anglican born & brought up in Kingston Jamaica, West Indies, where I was fully involved in the Anglican Church. I am a Registered Nurse, trained in General Nursing and Nursing Education in Jamaica. I was also trained in Midwifery & Psychiatric Nursing in Scotland, where I worked and taught at University Hospital West Indies School of Nursing. I migrated to Texas, and in 1989, came to Miami and Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. I then worked at Mercy Hospital and the University of Miami Hospital.
The liturgy, sermons and music are a great source of strength and hope to me in my personal journey with Christ. The diversity of the congregation is inspiring and enriches our outreach to others. Presently I sing in the Cathedral choir and the Anglican Chorale of Southeast Florida. I am also a Reader at the 10am Eucharist and a member of the Chapter. I look forward to participating in the building of the future of Trinity.
Favorite scripture passage: "Let us altogether with Christ "act justly, love mercy, walk humbly." (Micah 6:8)
