Festival of Lessons and Carols

Offered annually at Trinity Cathedral since 2007, this service comprising scripture and song is made famous by the annual broadcast from King's College in Cambridge, UK. Nine short readings (lessons), read by students from our church schools throughout the Diocese, are interspersed with traditional festive choral music, sung by Florida Singing Sons and the Anglican Chorale of Southeast Florida. The service begins at 6:00pm with "Once, in Royal David's City", who first verse is sung by a lone chorister. Organ music begins at 5:30pm. The complete order of service is below.
