Music at the Cathedral

New director of music appointed

The Cathedral Choir
The Cathedral Choir

The Cathedral follows the British Cathedral musical tradition in the selection and performance of music in support of worship, whilst also taking into account Miami's cultural diversity.

The mixed adult choir comprises both able volunteers and professional soloists.  The Choir sings for the Holy Eucharist at 10:00 on Sundays, as well as for occasional services including Evensong. Sunday morning services will typically feature choral psalmody and two anthems. The Cathedral Choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. and Sundays at 9:00 a.m.

Anyone wishing to join the choir is welcome to contact the Director of Music, Matthew Steynor at (786) 888-6665 or music@trinitymiami.org.

The Cathedral has a four-manual, 56-rank E. M. Skinner/Ĉolian Skinner organ. This beautiful instrument has no equal in South Florida, specially in the vibrant acoustical environment of the Cathedral nave.
