  Bells for Weddings and Other Events

 

For those planning a wedding at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral or in celebration or recognition of other special events, the Miami Guild of Change Ringers is available to ring the tower bells. Proceeds from this service are used to assist in the upkeep of the eight bells, the ropes used to ring them, and the tower.

 The Miami Guild of Change Ringers is available to ring

at special ceremonies and events.

  • Advanced notice required; preferably 2 weeks in advance of the event.
  • A minimum of 4 Change Ringers is required to ring the bells.
  • The minimum ringing time before or after an event is 15 minutes.  The maximum ringing time is either 1 hour before the event or 1 hour after the event.  Total ringing time available is 1 hour only.
  • Requests can be made for 4, 5, 6, 7 or all 8 of the bells to be rung.  Ringing the additional bells (5, 6, 7 & 8) is dependent upon availability of Change Ringers.
  • Cost to ring the bells:
    • $15 per bell rope for each 15 minutes

The Miami Guild of Change Ringers is a volunteer band performing and operating under the charter of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.  All funds raised by The Miami Guild of Change Ringers are transacted and reported under Trinity Episcopal Cathedral’s non-profit tax id.
